The position in the following game is unconditionally drawn.

http://www.queenalice.com/game.php?id=1095377

Despite several draw requests including written pleas in English and 1 in Spanish, my opponent continues to move and has not responded.

I am requesting the game be reviewed and (as I assume) be made to a draw.

Thank-you.

I believe the 50 move rule appplies here. My advice is you follow any advice your doctor has given you regarding healthy lifestyle choices. With luck and longevity you will be able to claim a draw when you have met the requirements of the 50 move rule.

Belbo, Cunha, Pato and the winners of the other sections should also commit themelves to longevity since round 2 wont start before you complete this game.

Hope my doctor doesn't mind me getting a repetitive strain injury! 50 moves....blah! %-)

I have encountered similiar situations while directing otb tournaments. Normallly the stobborn side has already used up most of their time. Since we play with a 5 second delay it is easy to make 50 moves. These situations tend to resolve themselves in less than 10 minutes. Here it can take a easily take a year.

Maybe we should discuss modifying the rule.
