Sometimes I have to click with the mouse several times to either (1) select a piece or (2) deselect a piece. I know that this is a problem, so I just try to be careful. Today, for the second day in a row, the piece I wanted to move is not the piece that moved; yesterday it cost me a game, today it cost a piece and probably the game. Now, I know that I need to look before hitting the "Move" button, but I am wondering if others are having the same problem, and if anything can be done about it. Are there settings I could change, etc.? It (the settings idea) doesn't seem likely, but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

I never had this kind of issue here...
What´s your browser ?
Maybe it´s a problem with the javascript within your browser...
Be carefull... ;-)

I have Internet Explorer 6.0, about as standard as they get.

Sometimes I have the click issue but not to the point of placing the wrong piece somewhere. When I have a heavy load on the CPU I notice a delay in the movement of pieces. I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.4.

The mouse could be the culprit. Maybe its time to change it.

I am using Firefox for over two years now... And I have no complains...
If you´re still using IE, you should consider trying an alternative (Firefox or Opera)... At least with them you can see if the problem remains...

If you like IE "so much" consider making a deep "clean" operation... (Clean up all your cache, temporary files, cookies, etc..) And manualy put everything back to "default"...
I also recomend you search your computer against spywares...

;-)
