Over the board, I don't speak to my opponent, he is my greatest enemy. I respect all players of all skill level, so I give my best every time. Even if you don't speak, over the board, your opponent of lesser skill will see clearly if you do not take him seriously. Now that's very disrespectful.

My opponent is my friend. He is only my enemy in playing chess but he is my friend while I'm playing with him during and after the game win or lose. I just play for fun.
