I have even gone to babalfish and translated my comments into Portuguese (or whatever language my opponent speaks).


Internet translators aren't the most reliable things in the world...
but you're right. It would be nice to have some recognition for your efforts...

I dont like to post coments about the game. I think chess is a game to be played without coments that could influence in the opponents moves...

But i dont see any problem in change messages during the game. We can talk about music, sports, chess and etc...I like this cutural contact with my opponent...

Initial e end game messages are usual.

Although my bad english, i try.

I like talking to my opponent with regards to anything. I like to have more chess friends.

I think it is a good practice to start a game by wishing him a goodluck and congragulating him if he wins.
Commenting about a move during the game may influence its result.
