Seems quite improbable - if his personal data were true he would be a strong OTB player, no need to cheat:

And not a very young one. Why should he? Maybe his identity is fake (someone has adopted his name insidiousely)?

yeah, its unbelivebul behavior of a good chessplayer..perhaps he look at all this as joke and dont mind as he is more over the board player.

Mateintwo mention that it is possible to play more than one account in gameknot?..is that possible here if Muguel knows it before?..as for some famylis perhaps father and son or brothers want to play at QueenAlice from one computer..

Excuse me, but I do not believe these charges: "eagacunha" is a former president of Rio de Janeiro Chess Federation, FIDE master, IM candidate and a national arbiter. How important to him, the QA rating?

<csparrow> If u had seen his games u won't had said that .I sometimes see games of stronger player to see how they play .That ganguly profile half of his won games were forfeits aginst other so called fake profiles and he had lost all his games against eagcunha around 10 of them out 40 odd games total that he played . And more than half of his losses against eagcunha were forfeits within 15 moves or resignation due to some incredible blunder for that level

The games between all already mentioned players are mostly fake, without any doubt.
But I think that Carlos (csparrow, and Inaki as well) mean that it is hard to believe, that QA member eagacunha, although he gives all that information about himself in his user profile, is the same Eduardo Arruda da Gama Antunes Cunha, the brazilian FIDE Master, with 2227 rating (even 2295 in 2003), and at the moment no.94 (before even much higher, but does not seem to play a lot, the last years) of Brazil, and an National Arbiter. This information is all correct, you can find it on the FIDE websites.
According to csparrow, he was also President of the Rio de Janeiro Chess Federation. So the question is; Could it not be possible, someone else used E.Cunha`s name, as it looks so unlikely, that a player from that high standard would need this kind of practices?
